It’s a big relief for all Kitui East sub county needy and vulnerable students who had unluckily missed joining 0 level studies after sitting for their KCPE in 2016, as the local Mp’s charity foundation steps in.
The Nimrod Mbai Youth Motivation program, that focuses on the fact that many girls from the rural areas miss chances to get secondary school education, has offered a second chance to girl-child education, orphans and vulnerable children to continue their path of education.
The initiative has revealed its plans to invest in the uptake of class 8 to form 1 especially for girl child and orphans in Kitui East.
“I have been in close contact with Day Secondary School Principals and already we have reached a comprehensive agreement that all students in Primary Schools will get admission letters irrespective of the marks they attained in the just concluded KCSE exams,” Attested Kitui East Jubilee MP Hon. Nimrod Mbai.
The initiative foumder has revealed that several new Day Secondary Schools will be established in January 2018 and has plans to strongly support all the newly opened schools between 2014 to date.
“We will make sure all day secondary school institutions are fully registered and government teachers are posted,” Confided Hon Mbai.
The new Day Secondary Schools set to be opened in January 2018 include; Ngaaka Yakwa, Kavati, Malatani, Kaluasi and Kathungu Primary School.
“I will personally pay Term 1 fees for all the students joining the new schools,” Added Hon. Nimrod Mbai.
